Rada Markovic (b. 1985) is a serbian architect and interior designer with german roots. She lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
Since 2004 until 2009 she studied Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at University of Belgrade. Since the beginning of her studies she was looking to integrate light with its work place in architectural projects. To begin with the idea of light art was that light should be an extension of daily life as well as visual and intellectual stimulation, the soul of any living and working space enabling us to better visualize the relationship between space and human being. During her studies she worked with architects like Dušan Teši and Zoran Bulaji in Belgrade.
In 2009 she moved to Milan, where she completed the Master studies in Lighting Design and Technology of Light at Polytechnic University. During the master she has done several projects with Michele De Lucchi, Huub Ubbens and Carlotta de Bevilacqua.
