Overview

A SAP Finance Process Stream Architect Procure to Pay (P2P) is a specialized role focusing on the technical aspects of implementing SAP finance solutions to optimize financial processes within an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP finance modules, such as SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and ARIBA combined with hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to align these solutions with the organization's financial strategies and goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vision and Strategy: Own the value stream vision for business performance and customer experience, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives

2. Roadmap Management: Design and maintain the overall roadmap for SAP Finance and Indirect Procurement processes, planning and prioritizing work to meet strategic goals

3. Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize financial processes within the SAP environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy

4. Quality Standards: Define and uphold the quality standards for financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

5. Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations of all stakeholders, including finance teams, IT staff, and executive management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals

6. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial processes and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices

Qualifications

1. Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with solid knowledge in Financial Accounting and Indirect Procurement

2. SAP Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP finance modules, particularly SAP FI, SAP MM, and ARIBA. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform are advantageous

3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage complex financial processes, systems, and issues

4. Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with various stakeholders

5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external partners

6. Certifications: Finance-related SAP Certifications like SAP Certified are advantageous

7. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the retail industry is preferred to tailor SAP solutions effectively

8. Leadership: Experience in leading development teams or managing cross-functional projects is highly beneficial

9. Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
