Job description
Tasks
- Planning and optimisation of workflows and manufacturing processes
- Creating, maintaining and documenting work plans, bills of materials and production documents in SAP
- Selecting and planning suitable production equipment, conducting target/actual comparisons
- Performing cost calculations and evaluating in-house vs. outsourced manufacturing
- Supporting production ramp-up, especially for prototypes and new technologies
- Contributing to design-for-manufacturability and serviceability analyses
- Supporting production teams with technical issues and root cause analysis
- Collaborating closely with engineering, design, quality and project management
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as electrician, industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician, each with further training as a technician or business administrator
- Solid professional experience in assembly and commissioning of optoelectronic systems
- Proven experience in production planning and REFA/MTM qualification
- Proficiency in Lean Production and Six Sigma methods
- Advanced skills in MS Office, SAP, and AutoCAD
- Fluent German (at least C1) and English skills (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
