At the core of our mission to simplify hotel search and booking lies an experienced engineering team that drives innovation to take our metasearch engine to the next level. Join trivago as an Apprentice and gain valuable work experience needed for a successful career.

Training salary per month

1st year of training: 1100€ (gross)

2nd year of training: 1200€ (gross)

3rd year of training: 1300€ (gross)

What you’ll learn:

• How to work on projects, from small ones like configuring a database, to planet-scale Kubernetes deployments and upgrades
• How to run a worldwide website hosted on-premise + cloud over our computing centers in Asia, North America and Europe
• How to administer complex containerized infrastructure deployments
• How to maintain a smoothly running data center
• How to manage and use machine learning models (AI)
• How to use the Google Cloud Platform at scale

What you’ll need to thrive:

• Mittlere Reife or (Fach)Abitur (Study dropouts are also welcome)
• German skills on a native level (C1) as this is required to pass the exams
• Fluent communication in English, our company language
• Open-mindedness to work with all kinds of cultures and people
• Motivation to learn new things every day in a fast-moving company
• Affinity to tech with a service-oriented mindset
• Current residence in Germany with an EU citizenship
• Availability to start your apprenticeship on the 1st of September 2025
