Your mission

1. Industrial mechanics (m/f/d) ensure that machines, production, and operating systems are always ready for operation.
2. They set up production equipment and machines, check their functions, and rectify faults.
3. They are familiar with techniques such as turning, milling, grinding, and various joining techniques (e.g., welding, bolting) as well as the assembly and adjustment of components.
4. At Mehler Protection, you will learn to handle a wide variety of materials, their special features, and their effectiveness in our products. The ongoing development of our protection systems and project activities make your work with us an engaging apprenticeship.
5. You will be part of a highly specialized team of manufacturing experts in the field of body and platform protection.

Vocational School Information

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. The vocational school is located in Braunschweig and meets 1 to 2 days a week.

1. You have successfully completed school and possess a school-leaving qualification recognized in Germany.
2. You have a good understanding of technical processes and manual skills.
3. You enjoy working with metals and machines.
4. You are reliable, committed, and enjoy teamwork.
5. You demonstrate a high degree of initiative and an open-minded attitude.
6. You possess good mathematical skills and a solid knowledge of physics.
