Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks an Applied AI Director to advise senior leaders on AI transformation, shaping strategic initiatives and guiding clients from experimentation to production-ready AI solutions.

You will lead cross-functional teams across consulting, engineering, design and data, delivering high-value results in a hybrid European setting with occasional office visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Banking, FS, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy or Utilities with leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on expertise in generative AI and agentic systems.
• Executive stakeholder management with C-suite and board-level exposure.
• Commercial acumen across revenue, margin and engagement growth.
• Transformation leadership to reimagine operating models using applied AI.
• Knowledge of agentic AI and governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite and board-level leaders on AI transformation and strategy.
• Define and drive AI strategies for clients with practical generative AI know-how.
• Lead discovery/ideation to identify high-value AI opportunities with clear value path.
• Drive AI adoption by quantifying business value and managing change.
• Lead cross-functional teams from concept to production and adoption.
• Grow EPAM's Applied AI practice through talent development and market positioning.
• Originate and convert enterprise opportunities with presales and sales teams.

We're looking for an Applied AI Director to join our team in the UK or Europe in a hybrid working mode. This position offers a hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland and occasional office visits required.At EPAM, we help organizations turn advances in generative AI into measurable business outcomes.
