A medium-sized company embedded in an international group is looking for a Sales Engineer/Technical Support professional. This role involves preparing offers for seals, ensuring customer requirements are met, and providing technical support for both the sales team and customers. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifikationen

  • 2 years related experience in engineering or sales.

Jobbeschreibung

  • Timely preparation of technical and commercial offers for seals and sealing systems. (wet, gas and liquid-lubricated mechanical seals for pumps , mixers, compressors, turbines, agitators, etc )
  • Understands and properly interprets customer requirements.
  • Applies established global and local Flowserve standards for pricing and quoting solutions
  • Identifies correct Flowserve solution to fulfill customer requirements for standard products
  • Provides assistance / support to manufacturing group
  • Contact person for technical and commercial customer inquiries
  • Ensuring technical and marketing support for Customers and sales team.
  • Checking the offer for price as well as delivery and payment conditions.
  • Technical follow-up with customers, suppliers, and internal cross functional parties
  • Support in the development and maintenance of sales tools including reference lists, status updates, installation lists, data analysis
  • Supporting purchasing in determining the price of purchased components
  • Participation in exciting and challenging interdisciplinary projects of the site Participation in scheduled training courses.

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent and / or 2 years related experience
  • Knowledge in the field of rotating equipment, thermodynamics and sales and project management is an advantage.
  • Hands-on mentality when solving technical problems.
  • Basic fluency in the English & German languages.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs, as well as SAP & CRM tools
  • High level of commitment and flexibility, as well as excellent communication skills and enthusiasm
  • Customer oriented action.
