Zusammenfassung

Sysmex Partec GmbH is seeking an Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) to deliver product demonstrations, installations, and hands-on operator training at customer sites or remotely. The role includes on-site and in-house customer support and contributing to global knowledge bases.

The ideal candidate will have a natural science background, knowledge of cellular analytics or related fields, and strong German and English communication skills, with willingness to travel globally (~30%).

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in natural science (or equivalent education).
• Sound understanding of cellular analytics, microbiology, genomic technologies, or fluorescent-based methods.
• Experience in field operations at customer sites.
• German and English language proficiency (must).

• Perform product demonstrations and installations at customer sites or via remote tools.
• Provide on-site and in-house customer support.
• Troubleshoot customer- and application-related issues and develop solutions.
• Contribute to the global support database (GCD) to answer requests online.
• Create training content and deliver operator and partner training courses.
• Attend conferences and exhibitions to present Sysmex Partec solutions.
• Contribute to development activities for new customer-specific applications.

Application Support Specialist (m/f/d)

The position is full-time (40 hours per week).

Your Responsibilities

• Product demonstrations (at customer site or via remote access tools) and product installations including operator training (at customer site)
• Support of customers (operators and distribution partners) on‑site and in‑house
• Troubleshooting for customer- and application‑related issues and creation of problem‑solving strategies
• Contribution to the operation of the global support data base (GCD) to answer support requests directly on‑line
• Creation of application‑related training contents and realization of training courses for operators and distribution partners
• Participation at conferences and exhibitions to present the Sysmex Partec solutions
• Participation in development activities for creation of new applications for customer‑specific solutions

Your Profile

• Completed studies in natural science (or equivalent education)
• Sound understanding of one or more of the following application fields and technologies: cellular analytics, microbiology, genomic technologies, fluorescent‑based methods
• Experience in field operations / activities at customer sites
• Basic technical understanding of flow cytometry as well as experience in microbiological QC methods beneficial
• German and English language is a must
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
• Capability to adhere to time‑lines and quality targets
• Willingness and motivation to be regularly trained on product innovations, new products and new applications
• Willingness to travel globally (app. 30% of working time)
• Strong service and consulting orientation
• Very good presentation and communication skills
• Class B driving license
