Your area of work:

For our Product Organization CTO (Chief Technology Officer), we are looking for a development application operational specialist or someone aspiring to become one, to work on our globally leading market data systems. The Deutsche Börse Group CTO provides technology-enabled services, building sustainable foundations to accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation.

You will be part of a build and run team responsible for services around the CTO (Data as a Service) area and the company-wide DevSecOps Toolchain. Expect an innovative environment that enforces agile application operations with a strong focus on cloud environments as well as on-premises infrastructure. We aim to provide maximum service levels to customers on a 24-hour basis.

Your responsibilities:

1. Support team efforts, ensuring efficient collaboration and successful delivery of results.
2. Enable business progress by leveraging technology to create a competitive edge.
3. Collaborate openly across functional and technical boundaries through effective communication.
4. Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in exploring innovative solutions and emerging technologies.
5. Provide 24/7 support for IT environments, resolving incidents with creative and effective solutions to maintain optimal service levels.
6. Work closely with development and security teams to implement and maintain deployment pipelines and compliance frameworks.
7. Plan, integrate, and support both third-party and internally developed applications within IT production environments and managed services.
8. Analyze and resolve technical issues while continuously monitoring, tuning, and optimizing application performance.
9. Contribute to deploying new projects and document implemented solutions thoroughly.
10. Embrace change and actively participate in cloud transformation initiatives with diligence and motivation.

Your profile:

1. Proven experience in application operations, DevSecOps practices, and project implementation or administration.
2. Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and Linux server environments.
3. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters, OpenShift, Docker/Podman.
4. Proficient in tools such as Terraform Enterprise, Vault, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Advanced Security, Artifactory, and SonarQube, with a solid understanding of automation.
5. Experience managing various database engines (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB) and reporting platforms (Splunk, Graylog).
6. Highly organized, curious, proactive, and a strong team player.
7. Service-oriented with excellent attention to detail and customer-facing experience.
8. Ability to connect technical expertise with business understanding.
9. Familiar with a wide range of open-source technologies and tools.
10. Proficient in scripting and coding, especially Python, Ansible, Helm Charts.
11. Experienced in systems and IT operations focusing on reliability and performance.
