Our client is a service company specializing in cooperation and commercial wholesale. The company acts as an intermediary and underwriter for various products.

The main business areas include 5-10 year guarantees on household appliances, kitchens, upholstered furniture, protective letter concepts for heat generators, and services as part of claims management. In addition to the sale of guarantees and claims management, customer orientation is a crucial part of the service provided. Through continuous growth in recent years, the motivated team is constantly expanding. Main tasks:

  • Conception, testing, rollout, and project management for the new introduction and further development of business applications (including support in the software selection process).
  • Close coordination with internal departments regarding current and future requirements.
  • Control of implementation by suppliers, development partners, and internal areas.
  • Advising the departments on all aspects of applications.
  • Responsible for planning and controlling operations and software updates.
  • Ensuring documentation and quality standards (e.g., interface documentation to surrounding systems).
  • Responsible for application administration and license overview.
  • Contact person for manufacturers and support with commercial processing.
  • Participation in operational and strategic work within the IT department.
  • Planning software updates and defining release strategies.
  • Ensuring operation (e.g., support in creating the monitoring concept).

Requirements

We are looking for qualified individuals who have several years of experience as an application or service manager based on a completed degree in computer science or comparable training.

Additionally, bring with you:

  • Very good technical understanding of IT infrastructures, IT applications, and Microsoft 365.
  • Practical knowledge in the management of business applications of medium-sized companies.
  • Good knowledge of software implementation methods and basic knowledge of project and service management (change & release).
  • Knowledge in the areas of CRM and LowCode/NoCode, as well as optimization of processes, is an advantage.
  • Structured and analytical way of working.
  • Strong communication skills and a high willingness to take responsibility.
  • Solution-oriented work and a high level of initiative.
  • Service orientation and team spirit.
  • Humor and pragmatism.
