Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide technical liaison and support to customers (brake system manufacturers, train operators, wagon builders). Select and recommend appropriate pads and blocks for railway applications and lead the development team during new product implementation.
• Support sales teams with technical clarification and feasibility assessments.
• Communicate technically with global customers.
• Assist in product selection for tenders based on technical expertise.
• Check performance capabilities based on customer specifications and test results to identify suitable products.
• Support customer vehicle certifications and prepare for vehicle testing across Europe.
• Present products and discuss projects onsite with customers, supporting their needs.
• Initiate and support product certification processes.
• Create test scenarios for internal and external dynos and real vehicle tests, evaluate results, and provide feedback.
• Support internal audits and handle customer complaints or internal issues.
• Contribute to product development and improvements, supporting design and friction material teams.
• Prepare and organize prototype parts for projects.
• Represent the company as a technical expert in committees and working groups across Europe.

Qualifications

• Diploma or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Excellent command of English and German.
• Proficiency in Office software.
• Quick learner with a customer-oriented personality.
• Strong team player capable of motivating others.
