We are currently seeking an Application Engineer - Protection Technology, 80-100% (m/f/d) for our product management team in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria).

What’s it about?

1. Practical assessment of new applications in the field of protection relay testing
2. Derivation of requirements for hardware projects based on application needs
3. Conducting practical measurements to ensure technical implementation according to application requirements
4. Publishing application manuals, notes, test templates, and/or technical conference contributions
5. Monitoring current developments in industry standards, best practices, and protection relay technology as well as related applications

What do you bring?

1. Ability to work independently and in a team
2. Knowledge of electrical energy systems, especially protection, automation, and control technology
3. Passion for technology and its application
4. Fluent English skills, German is a plus
5. Willingness to travel internationally (~10%)
6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant professional experience
