Job summary

Eugen Seitz AG – seitzvalve sucht einen Application Engineer (m/w/d) in Vollzeit zur Betreuung von Kundenprojekten und zur Entwicklung innovativer Ventilsysteme für PET-Anwendungen. Sie arbeiten eng mit Kunden, Entwicklung und Produktmanagement zusammen und tragen maßgeblich zur technischen Umsetzung bei.

Sie bringen ein mechanisches oder Systemtechnikstudium, mehrjährige Produktentwicklungserfahrung sowie ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung und Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch mit.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Maschinenbau oder Systemtechnik.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung ( ideal >5 Jahre ).
• Erfahrung mit technisch anspruchsvollen Produkten in industrieller Umgebung.
• Verständnis von Kundenanforderungen und deren Übersetzung in technische Lösungen.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Konzeption und Mitgestaltung von Entwürfen in enger Abstimmung mit Kunden.
• Verantwortung für die technischen Spezifikationen der Ventillösungen.
• Mitwirkung an komplexen Entwicklungsprojekten in internationalem Umfeld.
• Erster Ansprechpartner für technische Kundenanfragen und neue Anwendungen.
• Initiiert und treibt neue Produktentwicklungen im PET-Bereich.
• Aufbau von Fachexpertise in Spritzgießen und Ventiltechnik.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams und externen Partnern.

As an Application Engineer, you serve as the central link between the customer, the development team, and the product.

You understand applications, identify opportunities, and actively drive new solutions forward.

Your Responsibilities:

• Developing and helping to shape design concepts in close collaboration with customers
• Responsibility for the technical specifications of valve solutions
• Collaborating on complex development projects in an international environment
• Primary point of contact for technical customer inquiries and new applications
• Initiating and driving new product developments in the PET sector
• Building and deepening expertise in blow molding and valve technology
• Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering
• Several years of experience in product development (ideally >5 years)
• Experience with technically challenging products in an industrial setting
• Understanding of customer requirements and their translation into technical solutions
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact and international collaboration
• Very good German and English language skills

A plus:

• Experience in the field of PET / blow molding
• Knowledge of valve or fluid technology
