For our Application-Team in Krefeld, we are looking for a
Application Engineer (m/f/d) – Industrial Gas Applications

Responsibilities:
- Business development and application technology projects expansion in collaboration with industry partners and Messer subsidiaries
- Conduct market and customer process analyses to evaluate new business possibilities in the field of plastics and rubber recycling, manufacturing processes in polymer products (film/foam extrusion, molding, shaping, purifying, grinding) for industrial gases
- Supporting and executing technical gas application projects and field trials in the above-mentioned industries
- Discover, maintain and nurture relationships with technology partners, network partners and Messer subsidiaries
- Following market developments and trends by participating in exhibitions, symposiums and conferences
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical process engineering or chemical engineering with training or experience in process and/or manufacturing environment (m/f/d)
- Experience in at least one of the above-mentioned industrial processes or polymer technology knowledge
- Professional experience in the field of inert gases or high-pressure gases use in the industrial sector, whether sales or project execution, is an advantage.
- Manual dexterity and safe handling of machines and systems
- Good written and spoken German and business fluent English skills
- Willingness to travel (approx. 30-40%)
- Methodical and proactive way of working
