Responsibilities:

1. Technical development of air springs and air suspension modules according to internal specifications, customer specifications, and project timelines throughout the entire VCProMaP project management process.

2. Technical evaluation of customer specifications and requirements. Provide customer feedback, review, and negotiate a technically acceptable contractual basis for the project.

3. Develop basic functional layouts and derive specifications for design materials and testing.

4. Coordinate procurement, assembly, quality assurance, and delivery of prototype parts.

5. Coordinate setup, resources, execution, and documentation of static and dynamic testing relevant for design and product validation, including customer sign-off.

6. Coordinate all technical aspects influencing design function and product quality with internal stakeholders (Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Testing, PQS, Logistics) and external stakeholders (Customer, Suppliers).

7. Engage in continuous product and process improvements and innovations, including knowledge protection via patents.

8. Provide technical support during product launch and address occasional series supply issues and quality claims.

9. Support Design- and Process-FMEA activities.

10. Develop and acquire expert key competencies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar).
2. Several years of experience in the automotive industry or as an automotive supplier, preferably in development and project management.
3. Knowledge in product development; basic knowledge of air springs is preferable.
4. Proficiency in MS-Office.
5. Excellent spoken and written skills in English and German.
6. Strong communication skills and a structured working style.
