Are you ready to make an impact in the startup ecosystem of TUM and beyond? Then support us as a Project Manager at the TUM Venture Labs in Heilbronn - the launch pad for startup teams from TUM in Heilbronn! It is our mission to build high-class support for scalable, successful startup teams, offering support from the early discovery phase across successful scaling of the business. We are looking for enthusiastic support throughout this journey – and need you for it!

Your mission

1. Steer and develop our lighthouse projects to strategically advance TUM Venture Labs in Heilbronn, focusing on targeted start-up support, organization design and process enhancement. You will be responsible for project scoping, prioritization, and implementation. Your proactive and independent efforts will drive various initiatives within our dynamic team.
2. Actively manage stakeholders and partners of the ecosystem. You'll collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders within the TUM Venture Labs ecosystem such as partners from academia, industrial innovation, and venture capitalists; structuring and prioritizing their needs and actively contributing to content shaping. Furthermore, you'll support in structuring discussions and meetings with high-ranking representatives to further enhance partnerships and collaborations.
3. Manage the reporting of TUM Venture Labs Heilbronn by preparing comprehensive reports for the TUM Venture Labs Leadership, Supervisory Board, and relevant partners. You are therefore ensuring they receive accurate and timely insights for strategic decision-making. Moreover, you will also design and implement efficient reporting processes, establishing procedures that simplify data collection, analysis, and distribution, thus ensuring a smooth and straightforward reporting workflow.
4. Participate in assessing talents and startup teams in one-on-one sessions to identify strategic projects for further development of TUM Venture Labs offerings to entrepreneurial talents and startup teams.

Your profile

1. Successful completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
2. Study background in business, technology, or natural sciences with strong organizational skills, coupled with high social competence and teamwork abilities. Initial professional experience in project management or as a Business Analyst is desirable but not required.
3. A high level of goal orientation with the ability to coordinate and lead complex projects.
4. Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, finding joint solutions and creating win-win situations.
5. Entrepreneurial mindset with clear enthusiasm for high-tech innovation and the ability to work self-reliantly on new topics.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and fluent German skills, with a high level of confidence in communicating with internal and external organizations across hierarchies.
7. Motivation and openness to get to know the emerging startup region of Heilbronn and to work with a team and stakeholders at the campus in Heilbronn on site.
