EUROGATE Group Automation (EGA) seeks an IT Application Engineer to bridge the Mini Terminal project and the IT Factory, ensuring requirements, solutions, and operations stay aligned.
The role validates solutions and preserves knowledge of system behaviour within the project and toward Operations, with a focus on integration and testing across IT Factory and equipment vendors.

The IT Application Engineer acts as the content link between the Mini Terminal project and the IT Factory, ensuring alignment between project requirements, delivered solutions, and operational needs.
The role supports validation of solutions and serves as a knowledge carrier of system behaviour within the project and towards Operations.

The IT Application Engineer reports to the IT and Automation Manager of the Mini Terminal project.
Wilhelmshaven with some travel possible across EUROGATE’s other locations – Bremen, Bremerhaven and Hamburg.
English fluency required; German language proficiency is strongly preferred too.
You may have been working as a functional expert within a control system environment (e.g. TOS, ECS, WCS, or similar), with strong involvement in system behaviour, integration, and testing
You may have been working in a complex automated environment (e.g. terminal, warehouse, manufacturing), focusing on how systems interact and perform in real operations
You may have experience bridging IT systems and operational equipment, supporting integration, validation, and issue resolution across multiple providers
