Our client, a global leader in commercial battery storage and energy management solutions , is expanding its German division and seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales / Application Engineer to drive success in this high-growth market.

Technical Expertise

Electrical Engineering Background – Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Medium Voltage Experience – Planning switchgears, transformer stations, and grid connection processes.

Knowledge of Grid Requirements – Familiarity with over 800 grid operators and their specifications.

Technical Drawings & Plans – Ability to create cabling plans, top-view layouts, and site views for storage systems.

Measurement Concepts – Understanding of technical requirements and system integration.

2. Role-Specific Skills

Pre-Sales & Application Engineering – Bridge between technical and sales teams, translating customer needs into solutions.

Project Management – Experience managing multiple (smaller) projects, including high-value (€4M+) projects.

Customer-Facing & Sales Skills – Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Team Collaboration – Must be forthcoming, communicative, and a strong team player.

Personality & Work Ethic

Strong Personality – Proactive, ambitious, and resilient ("big balls" attitude).

Fast-Paced & Adaptable – Thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple ongoing projects.

4. Additional Preferences
