Application Consultant Electro-Optical (Transceiver) Test - Center Of Expertise (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Consult customers and account teams globally on implementing cost-efficient test solutions for electro-optical devices such as highly-integrated SiPh/CPO transceivers using the V93000 ATE system, optical measurement instruments, and optical probing & handling equipment.
• Identify and define emerging test requirements for electro-optical transceivers, following industry trends like silicon photonics and co-packaged optics.
• Collaborate with R&D and product definition teams to develop economic test solutions for electro-optical transceiver devices.
• Prepare and execute pre-sales activities, including customer presentations and benchmark projects.
• Drive the deployment of new V93000 electro-optical test solutions worldwide.

Your Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field, preferably with optics/opto-electronics focus.
• Expertise in optical measurements of electro-optical devices, including use of test instrumentation, fiber/connector assemblies, and automation.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and Java programming.
• Knowledge of silicon photonics manufacturing and device architectures like MZI, MRR, and couplers.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and a good team player.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).
