A leading investment management firm is seeking a skilled Anaplan Developer to join their team in Frankfurt or Augsburg. In this role, you will design and maintain financial models within Anaplan to support cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate has solid experience with Anaplan, a background in financial modeling, and strong analytical skills. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Anaplan Developer (m / f / d) to join our team in Augsburg or Frankfurt / Main and take a key role in building a next-generation investment management system based on Anaplan.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial models within Anaplan to support cash flow forecasting for investment funds and underlying assets. Your work will enable integrated reporting and analysis capabilities across our investment platform, contributing directly to data-driven decision-making in portfolio and asset management.
Main Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Anaplan models to support investment-related use cases, especially cash flow modeling for funds and assets
Collaborate with finance, investment, and data teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions
Build calculation logic, dashboards, and data integrations to enable real-time planning, reporting, and scenario analysis
Ensure data consistency and accuracy across Anaplan models and connected systems
Establish and maintain documentation, modeling standards, and governance processes
Act as a subject matter expert on Anaplan best practices and performance optimization
Support end-users in training, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement of Anaplan applications
Skills & experience required
Solid experience with Anaplan development and model building
Background in financial modeling, ideally in investment, real estate, or asset management contexts
Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to complex financial data and business logic
Experience with data integration tools and APIs is a plus (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Databricks, etc.)
Familiarity with planning and forecasting processes, especially cash flow planning
Team-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive working style
Fluent in English; German is a plus
