How will you make an impact in this role?

In this position, you will be part of a highly motivated Credit Risk Management team responsible for developing acquisition, underwriting, and customer management strategies for Germany and Austria.

As a key member of our Risk Management team in Europe and internationally, you will work closely with risk colleagues around the world to learn and apply best practices from other regions.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Develop strategic insights based on data analysis
  • Monitor risk appetite and portfolio loss trends
  • Use data analysis to understand underlying credit risk indicators and develop trends / forecasts
  • Diagnose issues and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with our central excellence teams and business partners to implement risk strategies
  • Understand market trends and the regulatory environment and apply them to credit risk

Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least a Master's degree in business administration, finance, statistics, economics, or mathematics, or a comparable qualification in a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience in credit risk management, data analysis, or a related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of data and statistical methods
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Fluent English and good German language skills
