What You'll Do

You will be part of BCG’s Vantage Team, supporting the Insurance Benchmark team in the execution and delivery of IT and Operational Excellence in Insurance Benchmark throughout all phases of the benchmarking cycle, delivering results to clients and case teams.

We seek someone with a strong attention to detail who shares our passion for benchmarking and the insurance industry, and who wants to contribute to digital and operational transformation in a rapidly changing environment. You will work in an international team, actively delivering and expanding the Insurance Benchmark in our target markets for various client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver original analysis and address benchmark-related requests in a fast-paced environment.
2. Collaborate effectively in virtual or in-person team settings.
3. Interact with clients and case teams daily via phone, email, or face-to-face meetings.
4. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to solve problems.
5. Structure, write, and share insights clearly and concisely.
6. Link data analysis to prevailing insurance trends and issues.
7. Navigate complexity and ambiguity with a solution-oriented mindset.
8. Work with global, virtual teams while maintaining strong attention to detail.
9. Suggest solutions by asking the right questions, even with imperfect information.
10. Listen actively and seek input from others.
11. Build strong, collaborative relationships.

What You'll Bring

• Master's degree with high academic achievement, preferably in (Business) Informatics, Business Mathematics, Business Administration, or Economics; candidates with 1+ year of relevant work experience in the Insurance Industry or consulting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 1+ year consulting experience or 3+ years relevant industry work experience in insurance.
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
