In December 2024, Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) signed an agreement to acquire BASF’s Food and Health Performance Ingredients business, including the Illertissen production site in Germany. This transition offers new opportunities for the site under LDC's management.

The Illertissen facility aims to continue its legacy of innovation in food and health ingredients, drive new advancements, and meet evolving consumer demands. The dedicated team of about 280 employees is expected to join LDC and remain committed to high-quality delivery, promising a bright future for the site and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

As an Application Management Services Support Specialist reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Manager - SAP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing end-to-end support for BOLD live countries, focusing on incident management and problem resolution.
  • Collaborating with Digital Technology & Analytics (DT&A), Financial Processes and Systems Optimization (FPSO), and Application Management Systems (AMS) teams to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Managing and prioritizing incidents and requests, ensuring complete information collection, translation into English, and timely resolution.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures for recurring issues.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for Illertissen-specific SAP support processes and procedures.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams for SAP application enhancements and updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Training and guiding end-users on application functionalities and best practices.
  • Participating in on-call support rotations for critical issues outside regular hours.
  • Working with global Feed & Food Solutions organizations to establish best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications in application management, ITIL, or relevant areas are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP application management or similar, with strong AMS knowledge.
  • Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive strategies.
  • Experience in end-user training and support.
Languages:
  • Fluent in English and German.
Other Skills:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and influence international teams.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills for project coordination.
