Amazon Payments Inc. (API) is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and driven Compliance Analyst to join our growing Compliance team. This role is critical to ensure the rapid expansion of Amazon’s payments business, develop compliance strategies, and ensure rigorous implementation across all functions within the company to guarantee sustained regulatory compliance.

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for completing and reviewing key compliance work across multiple payments licenses. The Analyst plays a key role in Amazon’s “second line of defence” in compliance and risk management governance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working cross-functionally with legal, operations, product, risk management, marketing, and finance teams.
• Driving projects to completion and developing data-driven strategies.
• Balancing compliance, business, and customer needs to protect Amazon and foster a culture of compliance and excellent customer experience.

Specific duties include:

• Completing Customer Due Diligence Checks.
• Validating seller documents and information.
• Highlighting exceptions, resolving issues, and documenting results.
• Escalating concerns to management for resolution.
• Reporting on compliance performance to relevant business units.
• Implementing regulatory changes into business operations promptly.
• Gathering internal information for regulatory requests.
• Creating and monitoring reports and metrics for AML and KYC tracking, both ongoing and for new products.
• Providing AML expertise to investigations and operational staff.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Science, Compliance, or Economics.
• 1-2 years of AML/Compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Compliance, AML, and KYC laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• AML-related certification.
• Experience in payments or e-commerce.
• Fluency in additional European languages is advantageous.
