Jobbeschreibung

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordination and oversight of all tasks related to type investigation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the competent authority.
2. Advising all departments within the design organization on issues related to airworthiness, operational suitability, environmental protection approvals, and certification.
3. Preparation of the Certification Programme in close cooperation with the engineering department, compliance verification engineers, and the competent authority.
4. Ensuring all compliance documents are prepared to demonstrate adherence to the certification programme and releasing these documents.
5. Preparation of the V&V Plan / V&V Matrix.
6. Conducting internal training for the design organization regarding the design assurance system and regulations.
7. Monitoring rulemaking activities and incorporating regulatory changes into the design organization manual, procedures, and forms.
8. Supporting activities related to continued airworthiness.
9. Participating in design organization management and audits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Proven experience as an airworthiness office engineer.
• Strong knowledge of initial airworthiness and modifications to type certificates of aircraft.
• Thorough understanding of EASA Part-21 and related certification specifications.
• Conscientious and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent command of English; German skills are a plus.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
