Job description
Tasks
- Manufacturing and assembling riveted joints and structural components based on drawings and specifications
- Producing parts according to current aerospace standards
- Preparing the workplace: reviewing drawings, setting up parts and tools, checking equipment
- Positioning and securing components
- Performing and documenting assembly work
- Applying surface protection, such as riveting head coating and sealing seams
- Working according to aviation quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Completed training as an aircraft mechanic (specializing in engine technology)
- ALTERNATIVE: Degree in a metalworking profession, such as precision mechanic, industrial mechanic or locksmith
- First professional experience in one of the following areas: Mechanics, precision mechanics, industrial mechanics or locksmith
- Advanced German (min. B2) and basic English (min. A2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-3 shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) mandatory
