Job Description
Perform assembly activities on aircraft according to work order, drawings, and other technical documents like AMM, IPC, SRM.
Activities include assembly, removal, and maintenance of hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, engines, and cabin components (panels, seats, etc.).
Perform any other activities related to the storage and de-storage of aircraft.
Execute work following FOD rules, internal procedures, and customer requirements.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure work meets requirements and report any issues found on the aircraft or work area.
Support the team in other tasks within your competencies (mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.).
Profile
- Trained mechanic with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the aviation sector.
- Ideally holds a B1 Licence and has experience working on Airbus aircraft.
- Able to recognize defects on parts to be installed.
- Knowledge of aviation security and safety rules related to FOD.
- Experience with activities related to engines, hydraulic systems, structures, fuel tanks, and air conditioning.
- Familiar with mechanical and structural tools like torque wrenches, backing bars, etc.
- Proficient in using technical documentation such as work orders, drawings, SOI, etc.
- Willing to work in a multicultural team and share experiences with colleagues.
- Ideally licensed to operate cherry pickers and lift machines.
- Open to shift work (early, late, night) and willing to work on weekends if needed.
