Jobbeschreibung

Our customer is the leading aircraft manufacturer worldwide. For the plant in Hamburg Finkenwerder, we are looking for you as Aircraft Manager (m/w/d) Single Aisle, start immediately, full time.

Responsibilities:

1. You take care of the follow-up of several aircraft along the production process, especially progress tracking and taking actions to solve the so-called non-conformities (NCs) and escalation when appropriate.
2. You are responsible for the preparation, coordination, and moderation of production meetings.
3. The coordination of outstanding works (OSW) with all impacted stakeholders (internal & external) belongs to your responsibility.
4. You monitor the material forecast for heads of version.
5. You keep up to date with the risk analysis (e.g. early warning towards internal customer) incl. setting up countermeasures taking into account on-time, on-cost, and on-quality objectives (OTD / OQD).
6. You prepare the quality gates and hand them to the next step in the production process.
7. You act as an interface to suppliers and risk-share-partners, possibly to final customers.
8. You report on the status of “your” aircraft (folio management, schedule update).
9. You work in accordance with the processes defined in the certified quality management system.

Qualifications:

1. You have successfully completed a Bachelor or Master of Science in the field of mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, or economy.
2. You have professional experience in the aviation industry.
3. You are used to coordinating tasks in the production environment.
4. You convince with your customer orientation and excellent communication skills (in speaking and writing).
5. You are a team player and able to cope with your tasks autonomously.
6. You are familiar with Google Suite, Tandem/Skywise, SAP R3.
7. You are fluent in English and German; French is an additional asset.
