Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Management to lead industrial building projects from needs assessment to handover. You will coordinate across stakeholders and guide project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, 5+ years of PM experience on construction projects, and fluent German with proficient English.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive management of construction projects from needs assessment to handover to users.

• Review user requirements, evaluate them and align with strategic corporate goals.
• Independent project planning, execution, invoicing, and adherence to cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Prepare and professionally negotiate necessary contracts and manage order tracking within contract management.

Your responsibilities will include: comprehensive management of construction projects from needs assessment to completion and handover to the users; making and implementing overarching project decisions at the interface with all project stakeholders, as well as leading the project teams; reviewing user requirements, evaluating them, and aligning them with strategic corporate goals; independent project planning, execution, invoicing, and adherence to cost, schedule, and quality targets; and preparing and professionally negotiating necessary contracts, as well as managing order tracking within the framework of contract management.

• Completed Master's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management, Architecture, Industrial Engineering in Construction or Building Services Engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management or project leadership of construction projects.
• Experience in the planning and realization of industrial buildings (e.g., production, laboratory and administration buildings) with a high proportion of building services engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of HOAI, VOB and AHO as well as proficient knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and CAD applications.
• Fluent German skills and proficient English skills
