Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Master- oder Diplomstudium in Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder Systems Engineering.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Sensor-Control, Avionik oder autonomen Systemen.
• Nachweisliche Erfahrung als Product Owner bei komplexen Hardware-/Softwareprodukten, sowie Backlog-Management.
• Kenntnisse im Systems Engineering (ISO/IEC 15288, INCOSE) sowie agilen Methoden (Scrum/SAFe).

Responsabilités

• Verantwortung für Vision und Roadmap des Sensor-Control-Subsystems.
• Definition von User Stories, Akzeptanzkriterien und Definition of Done.
• Koordination mit Systemarchitekten, Mission Engineers und Operations.
• Durchführung aller Scrum-Zeremonien sowie Risiko- und Compliance-Management (DO-278C).

Join the team! Our client in Ingolstadt is looking for a Product Owner (m/f/d) for Sensor Management Systems. Responsibility for the product vision and roadmap of the sensor control subsystem within the Ground Mission and Armament System. Translation of mission requirements, stakeholder needs, and regulatory specifications into a clear, prioritized product backlog. Definition and communication of user stories, acceptance criteria, and the "Definition of Done," taking into account functional and system-related attributes (traceability, security, maintainability). Close collaboration with an interdisciplinary 10-person development team (systems engineers, software engineers, integration specialists) for realistic sprint planning and on-time implementation. Coordination with system architects, mission engineers, and operations to align sensor capabilities with the overall system architecture. Execution of all Scrum ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives) as well as risk management and compliance assurance (e.g., DO-278C).

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Master- oder Diplomstudium der Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Systems Engineering oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Sensor-Control, Avionik, autonome Systeme oder andere missionskritische Plattformen

• Nachweisbare Expertise als Product Owner bei der Bereitstellung komplexer Hardware- oder Softwareprodukte sowie fundierte Kenntnisse im Backlog-Management

• Fundierter Hintergrund im Systems Engineering (ISO/IEC 15288, INCOSE) sowie Erfahrung im Stakeholder-Management und agilen Arbeitsweisen (Scrum / SAFe)

• Sichere Anwendung von Tools wie JIRA/Confluence, DOORS sowie Grundlagen in CAMEO, MATLAB/Simulink und Git

• Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (Deutschkenntnisse empfohlen)

Skills

• Zertifizierungen (von Vorteil): CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) oder SAFe POPM

• Regulatorische Normen: Kenntnisse in DO-278, IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882 oder ARP4754

• Software-Kenntnisse: Verständnis von Softwarearchitekturen, CI/CD-Konzepten sowie Java oder Linux
