Description

We’re seeking an experienced AI Solution Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to design, deploy, and optimize AI-driven solutions—especially those leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous AI agents—to drive real business impact. You’ll act as both a technical expert and a trusted advisor, ensuring that each implementation is robust, maintainable, safe, and delivers an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Delivery
  
  • Independently design, architect, and implement AI/ML solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Deploy, adapt, configure, and customize models, pipelines, and agent frameworks—ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of client engagements, from requirements gathering through post-launch support.
• Backend Architecture & Development
  
  • Design and maintain scalable backend services to support AI solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and expose clean, well-documented APIs and implement background processing pipelines to handle data-intensive tasks efficiently

• Agentic AI Design & Oversight
  
  • Develop and oversee autonomous AI agents that can plan, execute, and adapt workflows with minimal human intervention.
  • Define agent objectives, constraints, and safeguard mechanisms to ensure safe, goal-aligned behavior.
  • Monitor agent performance, detect unintended behaviors, and iterate on agent policies for reliability and compliance.
• Model Prompting & Fine-Tuning
  
  • Develop and refine prompt strategies for LLM-backed agents to achieve targeted behaviors and performance.
  • Lead fine-tuning projects: curate datasets, set up training jobs, evaluate model outputs, and iterate to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor model drift in production and re-tune as needed to maintain performance.
    
• Technical Presentations & Demonstrations
  
  • Draft and deliver compelling presentations that showcase product features, solution architecture, and ROI, including agent workflows and fail-safe designs.
  • Conduct live demos and proof-of-concepts, translating complex technical concepts into clear benefits for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  • Proactively liaise with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on roadmap priorities and ensure a stable production environment.
  • Provide feedback to Product on feature enhancements informed by client use cases, real-world deployment challenges, and agentic AI considerations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
    
    

Requirements

• Technical Expertise
  
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals (e.g., neural networks, transformer architectures, supervised & unsupervised learning).
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, including API design, background job processing, and database modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of AI frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, LangChain, RLLib, etc.).
  • Proven experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning of LLMs, plus practical experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems.
  • Familiarity with reinforcement learning or planning algorithms for autonomous decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience with data engineering principles, including ETL processes, data cleaning, data structuring, and schema design for complex datasets.
  • Practical experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, PGVector, ChromaDB) for efficient similarity search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience in a technology services environment.
• Knowledge of AI safety best practices, alignment techniques, and ethical governance frameworks.
