Job summary

METRO.digital seeks an AI Solution Architect to unlock the potential of AI across the organization, architecting AI-powered solutions and integrating cloud models to drive business value. You will build secure, observable AI platforms and prototype POCs using cloud services.

You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, design multi-agent systems, and define architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecting AI-powered products based on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in an architect role, especially in cloud environments.
• Understanding of modern tech stacks and architectural approaches for complex business problems.
• Ability to translate architecture decisions to non-functional requirements like scalability, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between AI engineers, data scientists, developers, and stakeholders.
• Translate business goals into AI-powered solutions and ensure feasibility with squad leads and engineers.
• Prototype and deliver POCs quickly using cloud-based AI services and third-party endpoints.
• Design agent and multi-agent solutions and integration into enterprise apps.
• Provide technical analyses and recommendations across AI solutions (agents, open LLMs, vision).
• Define standards, frameworks, and best practices for AI/ML systems.
• Advise business stakeholders on technical vision and strategy.
• Inspire and coach development teams to leverage Google Cloud AI services.
• Continuously seek new inspirations to improve the architecture beyond current responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Being a link betweentechnical roles (i.e.AIengineers,automation engineers, data scientists),businessstakeholdersandthearchitecturecommunity;
• Translate business goals into AI-powered solutions, ensuring technical feasibility through collaboration with squad leads, data scientists,AI engineers, and full stackengineers;
• Prototype and deliverPOCs quickly byleveragingcloud-based AI/ML services and third-party LLMendpoints;
• Design agent and multi-agentssolutions;
• Design the integration of the new AI solutions into our current enterprise applicationlandscape;
• Create comparative analysisand technical recommendationsacross multipleAI solutions (agentsorchestrators,open LLMs, computer vision solutions);
• Define technical standards, frameworks, and best practices for AI and MLsystems;
• Advisingbusiness stakeholderson technical vision andstrategy;
• You areinspiring and coaching thedevelopment teams to use the power of Google CloudAI services/products;
• Being constantly on the lookout for new inspiration to improve the architecture in and beyond your area of responsibility.

Required key competencies and qualifications

• Experience inarchitectingAI-poweredproducts based onGoogle CloudPlatform;
• Experienceinanarchitect role, especially in Cloudenvironments;
• Very goodunderstanding ofa diversetechnology stack,andarchitectural approaches,to recommendappropriate softwarearchitecture and solutions to complex businessproblems;
• Youcantranslate the impact of architecture and design choices on non-functional requirements like scalability, performance,availabilityandsecurity, in the context of AI-poweredsolutions;
• You can discuss architecture principlesfor agent and multi-agentssystems;
• Being able to translate business requirements into technicalframeworks;
• A wide range ofexpertisethat includes modern operations approaches(CI/CD pipelines, logging & monitoring) in the context of AI-powered solutions(i.e.chats, agents, ML models, computer vision models);
• Inspirational attitudetowardsthe usage of AI solutions, keen on redefining how METRO works in the age ofAI;
• Collaborative leader who can bridge technical,businessand governanceteams.
• Very goodfluency in English (written and verbal).
