ESMT Berlin, a leading global business school in the heart of Berlin, seeks an AI Program Director (m/f/x) for the Executive Programs team. This full-time, 40 hrs/week role is initially for 1 year with a conversion option to a permanent contract.

You bring AI domain expertise and leadership development experience, with a client mindset and strong delivery skills. German and English fluency, readiness to travel, and willingness to relocate to Berlin are required.

Responsibilities

• Translate ESMT's AI portfolio into high-impact executive learning experiences.
• Develop proposals for customized AI-focused programs in collaboration with faculty and clients.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of customized and open-enrolment programs.
• Facilitate learning journeys by coordinating faculty, practitioners, and external experts.
• Ensure timelines and budgets meet expectations; maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure quality delivery.
• Capture feedback to support ongoing AI program innovation.

• 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in AI-related consulting, executive education, leadership development, or organizational transformation.
• Deep understanding of AI and its business implications, with the ability to translate complex topics into impactful, executive-level learning journeys.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership development, executive education, or senior-level learning and transformation initiatives.
• Strong proposal writing, program directorship, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Confident and credible communicator with senior executives; professional, service-oriented, and reliable.
• Hands-on, structured, and collaborative, with high-quality standards and attention to detail.
• Fluencyin both German and English is required.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate; openness to occasional travel.

How you will make a difference

Working closely with the AI Lead and other stakeholders, you will translate ESMTs AI portfolio into high-impact learning experiences for executives and organizations, with a strong focus on program design, client engagement, and excellent delivery.

• Develop compelling proposals for customized AI-focused executive education programs in close collaboration with faculty, senior program directors, and clients.
• Manage and deliver both customized and open-enrolment AI programs end to end, from design refinement and faculty coordination to delivery, evaluation, and follow‑up.
• Facilitate the learning journey by orchestrating contributions from faculty, practitioners, and external experts; you may also teach sessions or lead workshops in your areas of expertise.
• Ensure operational excellence across timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
• Manage client relationships with professional communication, responsiveness, and a strong service mindset.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams across ESMT and external partners to ensure high‑quality, consistent program delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI programs by capturing client feedback, refining formats, and supporting innovation in learning design.
