Freelance AI Medical Imaging Specialist (Multimodal / Foundational Models)
Remote (Germany-based preferred) | Focus: Osteoporosis | Contract

We're hiring a freelance AI expert at the intersection of medical imaging, foundational models, and real-world clinical applications. You'll contribute to cutting-edge research and development in osteoporosis diagnostics, working alongside a high-calibre interdisciplinary team.


What We're Looking For:
  • Strong experience in multimodal or foundational AI models applied to medical imaging
  • Familiarity with DICOM, PACS, HL7/FHIR, and imaging standards
  • Proficient in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, MONAI, Hugging Face, or similar tools
  • Demonstrable understanding of EU MDR, ISO 13485, or AI Act compliance
  • Previous work in bone density analysis, skeletal health, or osteoporosis is highly desirable

Bonus:
  • Experience integrating imaging with clinical data or omics datasets
  • Prior contributions to AI/ML model validation in regulated environments
