European Tech Recruit is collaborating with a Munich-based multinational Telecommunications & SW R&D company to hire an AI Expert For Advanced Driving Systems. This role focuses on safety concepts, architectures, and risk management for L2–L4 ADAS/ADS.

You will own AI architectures, explore E2E models, VLA, world models, and RL, and lead a small team on global projects in a cutting-edge mobility environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in CS, EE, ML or related field.
• 5+ years in the ADAS/ADS field with product deployment in different ODDs.
• Experience with AI tech for autonomous driving: end-to-end, VLA, world models, RL.
• Professional English; German beneficial.

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a multinational Telecommunications & SW R&D company, based in Munich, who are looking for a talented AI Expert For Advanced Driving Systems to join their team.

In this role you will work on next-generation automated driving safety, addressing complex challenges around emerging technologies such as E2E, VLA, and world models. You'll define safety concepts, architectures, validation strategies, and risk management approaches for L2–L4 systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real technical ownership and to work on the future of automated driving at a global R&D organization.

Responsibilities as AI Expert For Advanced Driving Systems:

• Have an innovation-driven mindset, explores AI solutions to deliver safer advanced driving functions from L2 to L4 automation, and challenge and lead industry's technology forefront.
• Significantly influence the field of applied AI to autonomous driving/robotics and demonstrate a strong advanced technical drive.
• Understand the challenges of diverse ODDs for automated driving systems and able to design technical architectures tailored for deployment in various multiple ODDs.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field. Original work published at top international conferences (e.g., CVPR) is an advantage.
• 5+ years of work experience in the ADAS/ADS field, with successful product deployment experience in different ODDs.
• Experience in implementing key AI technologies for autonomous driving/robotics, such as end-to-end models, VLA, world models, and RL; relevant experience in the safety of advanced driving systems is an advantage.
• Proactive work attitude, able to motivate and inspire team members; professional-level English, proficiency in German beneficial.
• Willingness to work abroad (up to 25% of total working time).
