Job Description

About your tasks:

• Lead and mentor a team of talented AI engineers to deliver impactful machine learning and AI products
• Define the vision and roadmap for AI initiatives in collaboration with product and business teams
• Drive the design, development and deployment of scalable AI systems across the company
• Foster innovation and experimentation in your team while ensuring best practices and code quality
• Create a culture of ownership, learning and continuous improvement
• Present your ideas, models, and insights in a way that makes impact across departments.

Qualifications

About you:

• You hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Natural Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field from a reputed technical university in Germany
• You have proven (5+ years) experience leading AI or ML engineering team
• You have strong experience in ML & (Gen) AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) etc.
• You also have experience using various Large Language Model (LLM) APIs - such as those from OpenAI, Google (Gemini) etc, to develop innovative products.
• You enjoy building things from scratch, learning fast, and making a positive impact.
• You're passionate about developing people and scaling technical teams
• You enjoy collaborating across departments and turning complex problems into elegant solutions
