REPA Deutschland GmbH, part of the REPA Group, is expanding its AI & Innovation team in Bergkirchen. You will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions across the organization, from prototypes to production.

Join a cross-functional team working with IT, data, and external partners to create measurable value, while ensuring GDPR and AI governance compliance. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Practical experience in AI/ML engineering, generative AI, or AI application development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and experience with SQL and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and/or AI agents.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI.
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including Git, APIs, and architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactive, structured, and collaborative working style.
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.

Job Description

An AI Engineer / Specialist will be part of REPA’s AI & Innovation team and help turn AI opportunities into scalable, secure, and business‑ready solutions. You will design, develop, integrate, and continuously improve AI solutions across the organization – from initial prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to productive applications. Working closely with business functions, IT, data teams, and external technology partners, you will translate business requirements into practical AI solutions that create measurable value.

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end AI solutions, from proof of concept to production.
• Develop generative AI applications, AI agents, and RAG solutions using state‑of‑the‑art technologies.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing business processes and systems using APIs, cloud services, and automation technologies.
• Prepare and analyze structured and unstructured data using Python and SQL and ensure appropriate data quality.
• Evaluate AI models, tools, and technologies regarding business value, performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Continuously monitor and improve the quality, reliability, and performance of deployed AI solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, information security requirements, and internal AI governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Practical experience in AI/ML Engineering, Generative AI, or AI application development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and experience with SQL and APIs.
