Zusammenfassung

REPA Deutschland GmbH is seeking an AI Engineer / Specialist to join the AI & Innovation team. You will design, develop and scale AI solutions across the organization, from prototypes to production, collaborating with business, IT and external partners.

You will work on generative AI apps, LLMs and RAG, integrate solutions into processes, and ensure data quality and governance while adhering to GDPR and EU AI Act. Relocation noted for Bergkirchen/Unterschleißheim transition.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/AI/DS/Business Informatics or related field.
• Practical experience in AI/ML engineering and generative AI.
• Strong Python knowledge with SQL and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and/or AI agents.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and deploy end-to-end AI solutions from PoC to production.
• Develop generative AI applications, AI agents and RAG solutions.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing business processes via APIs, cloud services and automation.
• Prepare and analyze structured and unstructured data using Python and SQL; ensure data quality.
• Evaluate AI models, tools and technologies for value, performance, scalability, security and cost.
• Collaborate with business and IT to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor and improve quality and reliability of deployed AI solutions.
• Ensure GDPR, EU AI Act and internal AI governance standards.

As an AI Engineer / Specialist, you will be part of REPA's AI & Innovation team and help turn AI opportunities into scalable, secure, and business-ready solutions.

You will design, develop, integrate, and continuously improve AI solutions across the organization -- from initial prototypes and proof-of-concepts to productive applications. Working closely with business functions, IT, data teams, and external technology partners, you will translate business requirements into practical AI solutions that create measurable value.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, from proof of concept to production.
• Develop generative AI applications, AI agents, and RAG solutions using state-of-the-art technologies.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing business processes and systems using APIs, cloud services, and automation technologies.
• Prepare and analyze structured and unstructured data using Python and SQL and ensure appropriate data quality.
• Evaluate AI models, tools, and technologies regarding business value, performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Continuously monitor and improve the quality, reliability, and performance of deployed AI solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, information security requirements, and internal AI governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Practical experience in AI/ML Engineering, Generative AI, or AI application development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and experience with SQL and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and/or AI agents.
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI.
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including Git, APIs, and application architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactive, structured, and collaborative way of working.
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.
