AI Engineer (all genders)

Our Global Digitalization & AI Team plays a key role in providing the tools and infrastructure we need for our innovative and patient-driven business model. We are looking for a well-versed AI Engineer to help us build the future of work through cutting-edge artificial intelligence. In this inaugural position, you’ll have the unique opportunity to design and implement transformative AI-driven solutions that create value for internal stakeholders and, ultimately, for our patients. You can expect support from our AI Project Manager as well as from our Head of Global Digitalization & AI Team, training and guidance as you work on challenging tasks and expand your skills. A challenging task

• AI Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning (ML) and deep learning models tailored to business needs.
• Data Processing: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure high-quality inputs for model training.
• Algorithm Design: Develop algorithms for natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and predictive analytics.
• System Integration: Seamlessly integrate AI solutions into existing software systems to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Model Optimization: Optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Validation & Testing: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure model reliability and accuracy in production environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and the AI Project Manager to align initiatives with organizational goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on AI advancements and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies, and outcomes for team knowledge sharing.
• Manage the full lifecycle of AI models.

A convincing background

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions; experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and MLOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus but not mandatory.
