Job Summary:
This role focuses on developing and implementing conversational GenAI agents within Intelepeer's Workflow automation platform, requiring expertise in both AI development and system integration. The position involves writing code and developing scripts to address technical challenges while collaborating with customers to integrate their API platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can work both independently and as part of a skilled development team, contributing to design documents and participating in design reviews. The role demands strong communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders and management, particularly in assessing and communicating the business impact of technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Build Conversational GenAI agents that are integrated with Intelepeer's Workflow automation platform as well as customer's API platforms to automate business processes and enhance customer interactions.
- Develop code, scripts and other artifacts required to solve customer technical issues.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with key stakeholders including the customer, to gather requirements, solve integration challenges, and design solutions.
- Be proactive and inquisitive in identifying and finding solutions to complex problems.
- Determine severity and impact of issues on the business and communicate status to Management.
- Work both independently and with a group of highly skilled developers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers.
- Be a subject matter expert on our products and collaborate with other internal teams in order to contribute to the evolving suite of products that Intelepeer offers.
- Be flexible with work hours and schedule; provide on-demand support as needed.
- Keep up to date on industry technical trends and new development methodologies to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Generative AI and Prompt Engineering required.
- Experience in utilizing generative AI (e.g., LLMs, generative image models) in inference and fine-tuning tasks.
- At least 2 years of experience with Node JS/Angular JS/Express JS/React JS/Mongoose JS.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing RESTful web APIs.
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL experience (e.g., MYSQL, MongoDB preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, or other scripting languages (e.g. R, or similar).
- Strong understanding and experience using OO design principles and test-driven development.
- Experience in troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Experience with Cursor or Windsurf IDE is a plus.
- Experience with Linux/Unix is a plus.
- Experience with Speech Recognition, Text to Speech, Natural Language Processing is a plus
- Git experience is a plus.
- Docker experience is a plus.
- Sigma BI experience is a plus.
- Snowflake experience is a plus.
- Experience with SOAP web services and XML is a plus.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Computing related field; equivalent work experience and/or relevant Programming Certifications may be considered
