Our client, delivering advanced AI solutions within complex enterprise environments, is looking for an experienced Senior AI Architect to take technical ownership of the design and delivery of agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build and extend advanced agentic AI capabilities, with a particular focus on deep research loop agents involving multi-step reasoning and iterative research cycles.


• Own technical architecture and delivery while remaining 20-30% hands-on, developing and reviewing production-quality solutions using Python and LangChain.


• Design and integrate advanced AI capabilities including VLMs, knowledge graphs, RAG, vector/graph databases and multimodal document reasoning.


• Integrate agentic systems with enterprise platforms such as Gemini Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot, including integrations using MCP and A2A.


• Design, deploy and operate AI workloads in Microsoft Azure, ensuring solutions are scalable, robust and suitable for enterprise environments.


• Provide technical leadership across customer teams, confidently guiding architecture and implementation decisions, communicating with senior technical stakeholders and maintaining clear technical documentation.

Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience personally designing and building a deep research loop agent in production, involving multi-step reasoning and repeated research/information-gathering cycles.


• Expert-level Python skills and strong hands-on experience with LangChain and modern agent orchestration patterns.


• Significant experience architecting and delivering production AI/LLM and agentic systems, with strong knowledge of RAG, LLMs and enterprise AI architecture.


• Proven ability to operate as a senior AI Architect / Agentic Systems Architect, owning technical direction independently while remaining hands-on with implementation.


• Strong stakeholder-facing and communication skills, with the technical depth and confidence to work directly with senior engineers, architects and highly technical customer stakeholders.


• Desirable experience includes VLMs/multimodal AI, Azure, Haystack, vector and graph databases, knowledge graphs, MCP/A2A integrations, and/or an MSc or PhD in AI or a related discipline.

Please note: this is contract role for 3 months initially, full-time, with strong potential for extension
