Job Description:

Purpose of position

This role is designed to work closely with Awin's agency partners to ensure their needs are met and they are kept up to date with Awin products, technology, and partners. The successful candidate should recognize up-selling opportunities and further develop our partnership with the agency.

Key Tasks

  1. Monitor inbound enquiries from agencies, responding promptly and thoughtfully.
  2. Identify agency partnership opportunities, understand their needs, and educate them on how Awin can benefit both the client and the agency.
  3. Proactively approach agencies to increase business volume through new opportunities and cross/up-selling Awin products, solutions, and technology.
  4. Maintain relationships with key agency stakeholders via conference calls, in-person events, and 1:1 meetings.
  5. Collaborate with internal global stakeholders on agency partnership development projects to ensure a consistent experience across territories.
  6. Align internal strategies with market needs and utilize the Awin approach with agencies.
  7. Propose innovative and creative ideas for agency partnership growth, working closely with local and global teams.

While these are the general expectations, the role is expected to evolve, providing opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in the online and affiliate marketplace. The skills developed should serve as a foundation for career progression within Awin.

Skills & Expertise

  1. At least 2 years' experience in account management or sales, preferably in affiliate or online marketing.
  2. Native German speaker with business fluency in English.
  3. Understanding of performance marketing channels.
  4. Proficiency with Salesforce; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  5. Experience with LMS or eloomi content generation is advantageous.
  6. Strong communication skills, capable of asking the right questions to identify client needs.

An understanding of affiliate marketing industry standards and practices is expected for all roles within Awin.
