Qualifikationen

• 2-3 Jahre Erfahrung in Astrodynamik, insbesondere in der Orbit- und Lagereferenzierung.
• Gute Kenntnisse in Python und C++ sowie in eingebetteter Software.

Your way into the future

We are looking for an Aerospace Engineer with experience in Satellite Pointing and Attitude information, to maintain, improve and drive forward our Pointing and Acquisition system on our laser communication products. This role requires a deep understanding of astrodynamics, attitude dynamics, and a good knowledge of Python and embedded software.

• Develop and maintain systems to obtain and provide attitude and target/host dynamics in orbit.
• Improve and develop algorithms for path planning and orbit data propagation.
• Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to define and implement applications and signal processing algorithms on different layers.
• Write requirements and technical documentation at different levels based on the defined architecture.
• Conduct design reviews and analysis for the interface to satellite and to customers and performance optimization.
• Support hands-on in implementation, testing, and verification.

What you bring with you

• University master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in astrodynamics particularly in orbit and attitude determination.
• Good understanding of different co-ordinate systems and different time definitions.
• Good knowledge of embedded software.
• Good knowledge of Python and C++ as programming tools.
• Deep understanding of quaternions algebra.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and code generation preferred.
• Initiative on problem solving.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
