Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer (m/f/d) for a role with Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Germany. You will analyze the aerodynamic characteristics of high agility fighter aircraft and model datasets related to stability, control, performance, and loads.

The ideal candidate will have completed studies in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, proven experience in aerodynamics, and strong programming skills in Python and Fortran.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
• Professional experience in Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics with an affinity to fighter aircraft.
• Very good skills in the use of MS-Office and Python.

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Aerodynamics Engineer (m/f/d) in Dataset Team / Modelling.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze the aerodynamic characteristics of high agility fighter aircraft
• Model and design aerodynamic datasets for stability & control, performance, and loads assessments
• Ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability of aerodynamic data
• Support the preparation and conduction of wind tunnel and flight test programs
• Perform flight test data analysis

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
• Professional experience in Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics with an affinity to fighter aircraft
• Very good skills in the use of MS-Office and Python
• Good programming skills in Fortran and with Linux / Unix
• Fluent English and good German skills spoken and written
