Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK. What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Your profile
  • Strong educational background in aerodynamics, with a degree in engineering that incorporates either aerodynamics or fluid-mechanics
  • Experience in planning and organising aerodynamic projects against pre-agreed targets; this in collaboration with other Group Leaders
  • Proficient computer skills including CFD and 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA 3DX)
  • Technical understanding of CFD and wind tunnel test techniques as well as some knowledge of running wind tunnel testing programs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach, with attention to detail, and most importantly, with a high work ethic
  • The capacity to contribute to variety of projects and achieve performance targets within strict deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills to effectively manage a small team of people
  • Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented and able to work independently with some flexibility in terms of working hours
  • A team player but with the initiative to make own decisions, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Open to learning from others and sharing knowledge with others

  • Be involved in all aspects of the race car aerodynamic development, from initial ideas and design to analysis with of the numerical and experimental simulations
  • Be able to contribute effectively to complex aerodynamics projects, working closely with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers and Aero designers to make a substantial contribution towards the performance of our race car
  • Contribute to develop a culture of continuous improvements in all the aspects
