The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join the Breast Team in Clyde on a one-year fixed-term basis.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

• Tenure: Fixed-term for 1 year
• Location: Clyde Breast Team, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
• Work Pattern: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will work as an integral member of the Breast Team, providing advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients within breast services. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, the Advanced Nurse Practitioner will support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care, contribute to service development initiatives, provide specialist advice and support to patients and colleagues, and help ensure the continuous improvement of patient outcomes across the service.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner or working towards ANP qualification.
• Demonstrable advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Knowledge of person-centred care principles and service improvement methodologies.
