- Teach online Graduate Nursing courses in the NP and DNP programs
- Provide practice-based expertise in relevant course areas and specialties
- Teach subjects including Advanced Health Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology, Advanced Pharmacology, Advanced Practice Adult-Gerontology I & II, Epidemiology & Environmental Health, FNP: Role Children & Families, and FNP: Clinical Children & Families
- Engage in communication and multi-level problem solving with students, Wilkes University administration, and staff
- Lead active learning to meet course and program outcomes
Requirements
- Doctorally prepared (PhD or DNP) preferred; MSN-prepared candidates may be considered for select clinical courses
- Actively engaged in clinical practice
- Current unencumbered RN license in compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of successful online teaching experience for courses from an accredited university at the graduate level
- Communication and taking a lead role in multi-level problem solving with students, Wilkes University administration and staff
- Proven ability to engage students in active learning to meet required course and program outcomes
- Experience with learning management systems (LMSs); D2L / Brightspace preferred
- Curriculum vitae or resume, cover letter, list of 3 professional references, current unencumbered RN license, APRN license, national board certification as appropriate, and degree transcripts required for application
