South University seeks an experienced psychology instructor to deliver courses and oversee learning outcomes in a post-secondary setting. You will design plans, use educational technology, and assess performance while supporting online and on-campus instruction.

Qualifikationen

Requirements

• Doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline for undergraduate Psychology courses, or master's degree with a concentration in Psychology and a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline
• Earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline for graduate and post-baccalaureate coursework
• Experience in instruction or a formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution
• Active, valid, and unencumbered state licensure or certification as applicable to the discipline
• Ability to physically work in the United States while performing all responsibilities
• Access to a personal computer, Internet connection, and telephone connection
• Ability to hold required office hours and respond to student and administration questions within required response times
• Ability to complete New Faculty Orientation and other assigned/required training
• Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format, working online with students five of seven days per online week
• Willingness to attend required meetings
• Professional association membership tied to the area of instruction preferred
• At least six months of teaching experience at South University or another post-secondary education institution preferred; online experience a plus for online-only roles
