• Teach online courses in the Media Design Master of Fine Arts Degree Program
• Teach students media design theory, successful design campaign concepts, and industry design production processes
• Help students gain knowledge in branding, strategy, team dynamics, client communications, and workflow
• Create an environment of learning through effective teaching and maintain a student-centered focus
• Utilize varied teaching strategies and encourage active learning
• Perform lectures for campus courses and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses
• Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide equal learning opportunities
• Maintain industry knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education
• Adhere to Full Sail University policies, procedures, mission, values, confidentiality, and attendance standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be resident in the state of Florida
• Minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline
• Doctorate or Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Digital Arts, Emerging Media or related field from a regionally accredited college or university
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task while working independently and collaboratively with other teachers and university staff
• Ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels in an immersive, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience with public speaking and giving presentations, as well as designing presentations
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
• Knowledge of copywriting, target markets, and research strategies
• Experience using screen-capture web tools or software that allows for recording voice and screen
