The position summary: Stratasys is looking for its new Additive Manufacturing Center Technician, for EMEA.

In this role: Based in Germany near Rheinmünster, the Additive Manufacturing Center (AMC) Technician is responsible for producing high quality sample parts using any of the Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing technologies Stratasys is offering.

You will play a pivotal role supporting our sales and marketing activities across EMEA, by amazing potential clients with the production of remarkable 3D printed models, delivering high-quality bespoke parts that prove the value of our solutions and supporting product demonstrations.

What you will be doing:

Provide high-quality parts, on time and efficiently, this requires, for instance

• Prepare print jobs to meet customer requirements, being proactive to understand them, propose ideas and modifications to optimize its performance and part quality
• Schedule production to maximize efficiency and productivity of our 3D printer fleet
• Operate the machines to produce high-quality 3D printed parts
• Clean and post-process parts as required
• Perform quality control, analyse results and document them

Contribute to Additive Manufacturing Center (AMC) excellence

• Machine maintenance, operation and care
• Follow operational procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Use CRM system, like for reporting purposes
• Efficiently manage and control material stock
• Identify, propose and implement improvement areas
• Contribute to identifying new applications, best practices, etc
• Support, when required, sales and customer visits at AMC

Ensure AMC operational excellence

• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
• Attend all required company training
• Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values.

Must have for this role:

• Previous experience in 3D printing
• Broad technical understanding of manufacturing technologies
• Good MS-Office knowledge
• Absolute reliability, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
• High level of commitment and resilience
• High level spoken and written English, other language skills are an advantage

Nice to have:

• CAD experience
• German language knowledge (written and spoken)
• FDM technology and prototyping knowledge
